Our Story

The murder of George Floyd sparked massive protests across the world.  Those protests also reached the Palouse region where concerned citizens met and discussed the importance of making a difference in our communities.  We organized with the hope of bringing a Black Lives Matter mural to Pullman.  Ever since then we have been organizing to ensure the movement for equity and racial justice are sustained in our community.

Council Members

Solidarity is an important component of Palouse CORE membership.  Mutual support within our group is critical.  Every member of Palouse CORE is a council member and has a voice to influence our Advisory Council Members.

Advisory Council Members

Advisory Council Members take on additional responsibility to implement our goals and make decisions as an organization.  Advisory Council Members will listen to the council’s input.
